After studying Creative Writing & Communications at Tufts, Michael spent 20+ years in Marketing, with the last 13 at Google leading Product and Brand Marketing campaigns and eventually running Operations for social. Following a “why am I so unfulfilled while working at one of the best companies in the world” identity crisis in early 2018, Michael discovered that only he was in charge of his career and life, and after taking a good hard look at what really lit him up, realized that after two decades of marketing to people, he really wanted to find a way to work more directly with people. Later that year Michael was certified as a Co-Active/ICF Coach, and has since been helping clients discover their inner potential and make an impact on their lives, careers, and relationships. In July 2023, he resigned from Google to focus on his coaching practice. Michael lives in the Berkshires at The Filomena, a 19th century rectory that he and his husband Nick renovated and run as an occasional AirBnB and photoshoot destination.
