Love Your Labels is an LGBTQ+ led nonprofit that believes authentic self-expression is life-saving. From fashion to art, we recognize creativity as a powerful tool for self-discovery and daily wellbeing. We fiercely advocate for queer and trans youth and community while creating safe, welcoming spaces where people of all backgrounds can explore identity and celebrate who they are through creativity and fashion.
Primary Programs:
- Threads is a six month program for middle and high school-age youth (~12-18) where students use fashion design and sewing skills education as a lens to discuss personal expression and identity with the goal of helping youth on their journey of self-discovery.
- Drag Story Time is a literacy initiative where Drag Performers read affirming, inclusive stories to show our kids they are valid and incredible just as they are. At Story Time, each families gets to take home one of the books read to promote building home libraries and families reading together.
- Queer AF is the queer Met Gala of Massachusetts—an art and fashion show fundraiser bringing stars from RuPaul’s Drag Race to Project Runway to Worcester and raising money to support Love Your Labels programs and community-based work.
